# Directions:

01 - Blend cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth and spreadable.
02 - Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice of bread evenly.
03 - Spread a thin layer of cream cheese filling along one edge of each bread slice, then roll tightly to seal.
04 - Whisk eggs, milk, and vanilla extract together in a shallow dish until well combined.
05 - In a small bowl, thoroughly mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • These roll ups feel so fancy but are secretly the easiest breakfast trick in my playbook.
  • Every sweet, creamy bite has that perfect cinnamon swirl you’d expect from a bakery treat.
02 -
  • If the bread isn't fresh and super soft, it'll crack when you roll—use the freshest loaf you can find.
  • Waiting too long to coat with cinnamon sugar means it won't stick as well; do it while they're still hot and just out of the pan.
03 -
  • Let the roll ups rest for a minute before cutting—they hold together better that way.
  • A pinch of sea salt in the cinnamon sugar actually intensifies the flavor, so give it a try.
