# Directions:

01 - In a small bowl, mix the goat cheese and cream cheese (if using) until smooth and fully combined.

03 - Butter the outsides of each sandwich generously, ensuring even coverage.
04 - Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat until hot but not smoking.
05 - Place the sandwiches butter-side down in the skillet. Cook for 3–4 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
06 - Flip and cook the other side for another 3–4 minutes, pressing gently with a spatula, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
07 - Remove from heat, slice diagonally, and serve immediately while warm.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • The sweet and savory combination hits every craving at once
  • It comes together in under 15 minutes but tastes like restaurant food
02 -
  • Medium low heat is your friend here because high heat will burn the bread before the cheese has time to melt
  • Let the sandwiches rest for a minute after cooking so the cheese sets slightly and doesnt ooze out when you slice them
03 -
  • Use a cast iron skillet if you have one for the most even heat distribution and best browning
  • If the honey is too thick to drizzle warm it in the microwave for 10 seconds first
