# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • They come together in under 30 minutes but look like something from a fancy Italian restaurant
  • The combination of hot crusty bread and cool delicate prosciutto creates the most incredible temperature and texture contrast
02 -
  • Do not skip flipping the bread halfway through or you will end up with one side burnt and the other side sad and soggy
  • The mozzarella only needs 2 minutes back in the oven, any longer and it will separate and get oily
  • Assemble these right before serving because the bread starts to soften after about 20 minutes
03 -
  • If the mozzarella is too wet, pat it gently with paper towels before topping the toast
  • Room temperature ingredients make assembly easier and the flavors taste more vibrant
