# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • The spices bloom in warm milk and create a depth no syrup can match.
  • You can adjust the sweetness and heat to exactly what your mood needs that day.
  • It feels indulgent but takes less time than waiting in a drive through.
  • The aroma alone turns your kitchen into a cozy cafe.
02 -
  • Do not let the milk boil or it will lose its smooth texture and the spices can taste harsh instead of cozy.
  • Freshly ground spices make a noticeable difference, if your jars have been around for years, it might be time to replace them.
  • Froth the milk after adding the spices, not before, so the flavors infuse properly and the foam holds better.
03 -
  • Warm your mugs with hot water before pouring the latte so it stays hot longer.
  • If you do not have a frother, a small handheld whisk works better than you would think, just whisk fast in a circular motion.
  • Taste the spiced milk before adding it to the coffee and adjust sweetness or spice right then, it is easier to fix before you commit.
