01 - Set oven to 350°F. Lightly grease two small ramekins or one medium baking dish with oil or butter.
02 - In a mixing bowl, blend together oats, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder if using.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk milk, egg, maple syrup or honey, and vanilla extract until smooth.
04 - Pour wet mixture into dry ingredients and stir to create a uniform batter.
05 - Add 2 tablespoons Nutella and gently fold into the mixture, avoiding overmixing.
06 - Divide oat batter evenly among prepared ramekins or pour into the baking dish.
07 - Top batter with remaining 1 tablespoon Nutella in dollops. Swirl gently with a knife or toothpick.
08 - Dust with chopped hazelnuts and chocolate chips if desired.
09 - Place in oven and bake 22–25 minutes, until set and lightly golden.
10 - Let cool slightly before serving. If preferred, garnish with fresh berries or banana slices.
